QLD Policy Leaders Breakfast – The Business of Community Services – 14 November
November 14, 7:30 am - 9:00 am
The Queensland Futures Institute’s 2019 Policy Leaders Breakfasts feature influential policy makers and shapers.
Many people in Queensland live a good life and are benefitting from the social and economic benefits that Queensland has to offer. However, there are many people not able to afford a decent standard of living. In Queensland demand for community services is increasing year on year given the pressures of living affordability, disasters, and the societal pressures experienced by individuals and families.
The social and community service sector provides services and support to hundreds of thousands of Queenslanders each year. With reforms, including in aged care and the disability sector, the community service sector will continue to play a critical role in meeting the needs of people, wherever they live across the State.
