The Queensland Futures Institute’s 2018 ‘Sandwich Workshops’ are informal lunchtime sessions at which policy ideas are presented and debated. It is an opportunity to network and engage in conversation and to contribute your thoughts and ideas on matters key to Queensland’s growth.
Our 18 October Workshop focusses on How Universities are advancing the Knowledge Economy. Among Queensland’s top growing industries for employment are those that rely on the provision of knowledge and services. The panel will canvass how universities are involved in the transition towards knowledge industries and how this is positively associated with economic growth and productivity.
